Ahhh, working out. One of the hardest parts of losing weight-for me, that is. My fiance’ and I joined a gym but haven’t gone yet-we are going this week. So I decided that I would work out today. We have a fantastic DVD from Harvey from the Celebrity Fit Club that we used to use, so I decided to do the warm up from that. I haven’t worked out in FOREVER so I figured I would start out small, and I did. I put it in and am now SOOO tired. It got my heart rate up so fast, and got me very out of breath, even though it was only about a 10 minute warm up. But that’s more working out than I’ve done in a while, and I feel better that I did it.

I have the most awful habit of being overly hard on myself when I diet. I have to weigh in tomorrow and I don’t FEEL lighter, so I am not sure if I lost any weight, and that has me borderline depressed, and that’s just ridiculous. I’ve changed my way of eating for the better and am now being active, and yet that still isn’t good enough for me. It’s almost like if I don’t see the numbers in my weight loss, then it just isn’t acceptable, and I know that’s not the way to be. I should just go for the long term effects on my body. The 10 day phase of the Suddenly Slim ends on Thursday and Kathi said I was on the track to lose 16 lbs., like she did, but I’m just worried if I don’t make it that far, I’ll get upset. I need to be happy with what I do lose, but I don’t think I will be. So I thought writing would make me feel better, and it does.

I’m going to go make myself a good healthy dinner in a little bit and try to look at the upside-I’m eating better than I have in almost a year.
